Confused EZM2 bought on ebay *cough

Please excuse the newbie questions. This is my first Sinn and I've wanted an Hydro for a while. Saw this ebay.co.uk/itm/Sinn-EZM2-HYDRO/264091712284?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid =p2057872.m2749.l2649 and put in an offer.

Now it's arrived I'm wondering if anyone has started copying these yet. Main reason is it a lot lighter than I would expect (ok it's missing half of the oil). Plus the condition is better than I expected for a 10 year old watch without papers nor box. Also not sure if the strap is original. Can it be a copy that someone has added Sinn buckles to it?

Is it that I can't believe my luck that I've finally got a Hydro or am I right to doubt?

Is there anyone in the NW of the UK or North Wales who can look at this before I send it to Sinn for a service?

    Thanks in advance.

It doesn't look bad in the photos; rather better than one might expect for its age. As for "Silicone-oil is off becouse incompetent watchmaker.", sounds like an incompetent owner gave it to a clueless watchbodger for a new battery and the guy wondered why he found oil all over his bench. At least he didn't scratch the back when unscrewing it. I wouldn't let anyone else touch it before it goes back to Sinn for a complete check. No idea about the rubber strap & clasp.

    Sorry, can’t find the listing.
Just send it to Sinn, you’ll wand that oil filled properly. If it’s legit, they’ll replace the battery, fill the oil and return an awesome watch, good for another 7 years.

Oh, and then post pics of your success.

    Good luck!

Speak to Neil Wood at Chronomaster, he's a Sinn AD based in the Bolton area. He's a really helpful guy and may be able to answer your concerns. Also, he will be able to assist you with sending the watch back to Sinn for a service.
