    First Sinn

Finally picked up my first Sinn. A 103 acrylic.....I promptly accidently smacked it against a door jamb at work and gave the insert a little ding....arghhh!

I bought it used at a very good price, so I figure if the minor ding really bothers me I can afford to send it to RGM for a new insert.

    But I love it. :)

It sure is a beauty. Mine is on its way....delivery next week

I think the bezel looks great when it's dinged up, gives it the vintage look.

Does the bezel have an insert? I thought it was one solid piece?

Love that watch. Contemplating one to go with my 103 Testaf.

polywatch rubbing compound will help with scratches and stuff, easy to use on that acrylic. Enjoy your first!

It's a beautiful looking chronograph. Sinn watches are built to take a few dings, no worries there. Congrats on your first Sinn!

I gotta' agree, and the acrylic crystal gives it more warmth and personality than glass. And I wouldn't have noticed the bezel rash if you hadn't of pointed it out.

Love the acrylic, as you say gives a great personality to the watch. Acrylic crystals and polish are easy to obtain from Sinn.

You might not even have to bother Sinn.

Polywatch plastic lens scratch remover is readily available on Amazon, ebay, etc.
If you don't have Polywatch, you could use Nevr Dull wadding instead.

As far as the acrylic crystal is concerned; if needed, a good watchmaker should be able to fit a generic crystal for you.

For obvious reasons, this particular 103 model reminds me of the Speedmaster and the period when they both were created.
    Great retro watches both...
