Four-hour layover in Frankfurt enough time to shop at Sinn HQ?

I've got a business trip in May to Eastern Europe and have a 4 hour daytime layover in Frankfurt on my return trip. Sinn's HQ is according to Google Maps about a 15 minute cab ride. Would a four-hour layover be enough time to visit the factory store, make a purchase, get the VAT refund paper processed and go through departure immigration?

I will already have a boarding pass, carry-on luggage only and am flying business class but want to be through security and at the gate 60 minutes before departure. I've flown through Frankfurt before and am not worried about navigating the airport but am curious about the additional time required for the VAT refund and departure immigration. Is this doable?

It sounds tight, especially with the vat refund process.

Frankfurt airport being one of my least favourite airports notwithstanding.

I'm afraid I cannot help with regards to the VAT refund part, however I do live in Frankfurt, and calculating 15 mins from either Terminal 1 or 2 to Sinn's HQ in Sossenheim is cutting it fine. It might be possible the way the Taxis drive, but only without much traffic on the roads. If you just checked on Google today, keep in mind that it is already the Easter holidays so schools are closed and the roads are exceptionally quiet.

When you come over it might be different, especially depending on time of day you are trying to get back to the airport.

Maybe give Sinn a heads-up in advance if you have a particular watch in mind, as I am sure they would get it ready for you. I always found that their customer service locally has been excellent. Good luck.
