How does one identify a Sinn 756 Series 1 vs. 2

How does someone tell if a 756 is a series 1 or 2? The series 1 has a Damasko version of the ice hardened case vs the tegimented case of the series 2.

    Hello,

I looked into the answer for this question a little while ago and it comes down to this...

Look at the caseback, the Series1 should have a serial number between 756.0001 and 756.1000 (not 100% sure, but was told they only made 1000 of this series).

Also on the Series1 the back will say Edelstahl 60 HRC - Nickelfrei - Stoss - etc. The big thing is it will not say Tegiment on the back, only the Series2 have this word.

Also from what I have read the finish (color) of the steel is slightly different.

Finally, the back will be marked 10Bar/100m on the Series1 and 20Bar/200m on the second (due to redesigned pushers apparently).

    Thanks
    Charles
