Looking to replace the bezel / rotating ring on my 103

I'm a watchsmith, but I specialize in Seiko.

I've got a 103, and I love it. However, I'd love to change the rotating ring to the model that has the stainless edge rather than the all-black ring I have now. What options are there to get one of these? Does Sinn sell these parts at all? Does anyone have one around I can talk them out of?

    What I have:

Give watchbuys a call. They can tell you what is avail. Or, simply shoot Sinn Germany an email and go from there.

It looks like some guy in England did just that. I remembered seeing it some time ago and did a quick google search and found the page, but my browser can't seem to open it. I copied the "Cached Google page" link - Sinn 103 St Refreshed With St Sa Bezel - Watch Discussion Forum - The Watch Forum

and here is a picture of the result. It seems he ordered the bezel from Sinn directly.

    Good luck,
    Tony

Bead blast finish is best blast finish! That 103ST blasted is HOT.

Sorry folks, getting back to this late. I got distracted. So, I wrote both Sinn in Germany, and WatchBuys here in the USA, as directed. I got an almost instant response from Watchbuys:

    Spencer,

It is possible to retrofit your Sinn 103 St Acrylic with the friction bezel from the old 103 St Sa model.

We have this part available now, and the price is $150 plus shipping and insurance.

Please give us a call at (888) 333-4895 to place your order as we do not keep this item on the site.

Please also note that all part sales are final and are not eligible for return or exchange.

    Best Regards,

    WatchBuys

I am trying to do something similar and have had little luck. WatchBuys was helpful, but unable to identify which bezel would be a fit for my 103. I am trying to go from the smooth bezel to the rotating. Hoping that an email to Sinn will surface some information. Did you happen to keep the bezel you removed? If so - would you be willing to part with it??
