My first Sinn – a few pictures of the 856

After looking for a German watch on and off for the last six months I finally pulled the trigger on a used Sinn 856 this week. With a surname of “Mueller’ I was feeling a little guilty not supporting the Vaterland. My first impressions are extremely favorable. Accuracy has been outstanding as it’s only gained a total of +3 seconds over the last five days. - The previous owner had said it was well within COSC specs and I guess he wasn’t kidding. Fit & finish are great and the size is perfect for me. Enough talk, here are a few pictures:

    Thanks for looking, Rick

I agree, nice trio. If you compare, what great clarity the dial of the Sinn has! The Omega (fantastic watch it is) is a nightmare!
The Ball is nice, but what a strange idea, placing the day and date on different places/levels! No harmony!

    Welcome fellow "Sinner"!

The 856 is a magnificent addition to your collection. May you have health to enjoy and feel free to post more pics. Your camera skills are very impressive.

I must say that is one sharp looking watch and also congrats on the pickup!

Thanks much - here's another couple shots of the BIG buckle -surprising though that the rubber strap is comfortable for its size.
