New Sinn buyer needs lots of help ! Please help me

    Hi guys,

I have recently been reading this forum a lot and i've decided I am going to buy myself a Sinn watch. I am totally oblivious to Sinn watches but I really like them. This is sort of a investment also, im hoping the watch I plan to get will retain its value over time, maybe even increase in value. Please help me out guys, PLEASE ! any advice and input would help me out so much.

I am thinking about purchasing the Sinn 756 UTC S Tegimented on bracelet.

Do you guys think its going to hold up on its value? If you guys think there is a better watch please let me know I want to know everyones input.

    THANK YOU ALL

Hi, if value is what you want then I dont think Sinn will be the right way to go. May be consider other brands - Panerais or Patek.

Why stop at 1 when you can have more?

I like the 756, I just bought one. Nothing much to dislike of. Unless you totally dislike the 7750 movement. Personally, if I were start anew, I would try for U1.
    - The U1 is much more sought after, if you dislike it, you can always get back most of yr money.
    - I see U1 gaining more cult popularity.
    - It is also CHEAPER.

thank you for all your help khorkar!!!

is there any way you can change the band of the U1?

I like bracelets a lot more. Any other watch you would recommend? Im not too fond of the U1 look, like the classic looks more.

    thanks again!

a sinn 757 on bracelet. and no, a sinn doesn't increase in value. it may hold its old value as prices increase, but for us mere mortals, only a rolex can retain its price. a panerai will gain in value.

all Sinn's will go up in price in the next few days so by getting in now you can save a few dollars for sure.

I don't look at watches as investment pieces, but Sinn's tend to hold a good portion of their purchase value in general...and also, most of us when we get one, won't let go.

Keep us posted and good luck.

Yes, the Diapal oil free escapement is much better. Read about it here:

Bo is right... Diapal is the better choice. Do you really need a UTC?
