    Odd Customer Service Response

Just email-chatted with Customer Service at WatchBuys.

I was asking if the Sinn U1 black bezel models (re: U1-T SDR Fully Tegimented model) had lume in the bezel numerals/indices, or was it simply white paint.

The first response I received was "I am confused by the word bezel."

(We finally got it figured out, . . . to some extent anyway.)

Why do I feel there is a lot more to this story?
My collection changes so often I got tired of redoing my signature

Weird. I'd be checking the email to see if I'd "dialed a wrong number". So strange.

That's weird. My experience with Watchbuys has always been superb, both in-person and over the phone. New hire, maybe?

That's what I was thinking too. Quite startling that he did not seem to know what a bezel is. Heck, I knew what a bezel was even before joining any watch sites.

If so, I'd say their hiring process might need a revamp. That's like hiring a lifeguard and forgetting to ask if they can swim...

    Surely there's some other explanation.

Well, to answer the question... no, not lumed. As to the rest, who knows?

I’ll go with Heb’s reply because that’s what we call them in Yorkshire too.

Very strange, every time I've dealt with WatchBuys, they are very knowledgeable about their products.
