    Off to RGM ...

I recently picked up a 103 St Sa Ar UTC from a fellow in Germany, the warranty card stating 2009. I've passed it along to RGM at Rob's (Watchbuy fame) recommendation for standard service, reconditioning and regulation. As things progress, I'll offer commentary about the experience, perhaps benefiting others on the forum.

    Re: Off to RGM ...

First update: the watch arrived last Friday, and I received an email confirming arrival, and a service ticket issued yesterday. I've been promised an estimate within a couple weeks ...

    More to come!

Update: very nice phone call with Roland at RGM (the man, the legend, himself), discussing my repair and next steps. More to come ...

I use RGM for all my higher end watches. They are THE best.

    Re: Off to RGM ...

Add me to the Interest group. Good to hear that RGM is held in high regard for service. I hear mixed reviews about the Man himself, which isn't really a fair way to judge the quality of service.
I live in the U.S.A. and I am always hesitant to package and send watches abroad for repair (paperwork, time, etc.). I hope (for OP's sake as well as my own) to hear some positive observations about the process and the results!
