    opinions of U1000

    Hello everyone,

I was wondering if someone had pics of U1000 on 16cm wrists. I'm thinking its a no go for me (really like the watch though).

I have a 18cm wrist so keep that in mind when looking at the pictures.....yes it big but not to sound cliche it reeeaaally wears comfortable.
what do I mean when I say comfortable.....you would not believe how balanced it wears for a large watch
I loved the super thick crystal and how it distorts at certain angles, but that's just me

Please keep in mind that its possible to wear the U1000 with 16cm but if its comfortable depends on your wrist. Not on a picture from the watch you like on another mans wrist.
My wrist is 16,5 and its definatelly not comfortable because the head of my upper bone (ulna) hits the case. After 1-2 days I cannot wear it any more! > It also depends on your "upholstering" .

I have a 17.5cm left wrist and I find my Sinn U1000 very comfortable to wear. I guess it does really depend upon your wrist profile.

There is no doubt that the U1000 is a heavy / large watch, but I've had mine 3 years and I'm very happy with it.

I also have the Sinn U2 (and Sinn 103). Had my Sinn U2 since June 2007 and wore it for 10 years straight before it needed a service. The U2 is my "beater" watch, and still looks great.... although I'm sure the U1000 is every bit as tough.
