Replacing a 43mm Sapphire Crystal on an 836. Help finding one.

I wore a 556 or an 856 every day for 12+ years and the day my 836 arrived, I started wearing it daily instead. The 836 is my third Sinn. It's a gorgeous watch. I never had a problem with wear and tear on my 556 or my 856 UTC. Within the first couple days of wear on the 836, I somehow managed to scratch the heck out of my sapphire crystal. A fairly large (one-inch) scratch that won't buff out. I called Watchbuys and they recommended their reputable Sinn-Authorized friends up in Lancaster, PA to repair the watch. I called the folks in Lancaster and they said it would cost around $400 to replace. Does that sound reasonable or not?

I have been wearing it for the past several months with the scratch dreading the replacement cost and process.

    Thanks, G

    Man that’s a bummer;(

Although it might be a wash with the shipping back in forth, I would email Sinn to see what they would charge

    Cheers
