    Satin finish Rubber strap vs non satin for Sinn 104

    I am looking at Sinn rubber strap from watchbuys and it seems there is a satin finish version and a non satin version. Is the difference on the buckle or the strap? On the website I cant see any difference?

    Thanks for the quick response. I am looking for a matte finish. Is satin=matt or will it be glossy?

    Also I have the watch with the blue dial. They do have a blue strap but it does not seem to match the color of my watch. Should I just get the black strap?

    Since your 104 is polished, a satin “brushed” finish would look great.

    @spring-diver.... HAHA good one.

    To the OP: If you must go down this route, you want to get the black strap with the polished (non-satin) buckle. BUT, I'd strongly encourage you to look at leather or bracelet options for the 104. The 104 really doesn't belong on rubber IMO. Even an aftermarket strap (almost any aftermarket strap haha) would be better than the rubber IMO.

    To the OP, I have to agree with EG. I’ve had a 104 (and 103 ST), and every Sinn 20mm rubber strap — none work well on the Sinn 104. The Sinn 104 is awesome in just about everything else imaginable — steel, leather, NATO, canvas, perlon, etc.

    This is correct. There are generally 2 types of buckles in various finishes available for Sinn silicon straps; the butterfly clasp, and the long deployment. The finishes are brushed (satin) stainless, matte stainless, Tegimented matte stainless, and Tegimented PVD black matte stainless. There are also matte Titanium long deployants available for a few models.

    I think there are some rubber straps that look great on the 104. For example the Hirsch Accent (see attached pic). Name: sinn_104_accent_strap.jpg
