    Sinn 103 day change

I just received my new 103 SA B E, and found it strange that the "day" wheel changes from Mon->Son->Sam->Fre->Don->Mit->Die->Mon... i.e. it goes backwards. Don't understand this as my 104 goes forwards Mon->Tue->Die->Wed->Mit... etc. Also, why does the 104 have German/English but the 103 only has German? Stunning watch though, love it.

I'm not even sure what would cause this to happen as like everything in a watch, it's geared to move in only a certain way. Interested to hear from others on this.

Are you talking about when you set the day with the crown, or when the day changes as the movement progresses? One is normal, the other is definitely not.

Just when setting the day using the quickset, it changes forward to the correct day at midnight with the time change. I know that there is nothing "wrong" with the watch, just find it weird that a quickset goes backwards, never seen that before. Fb group members have confirmed that this is the case with the 103.

Oh I misunderstood then, yes a few calibers have bi-directional settings

Yup, that's perfectly normal. One of the charms of the 7750.

No, not bi-directional, the day change ONLY goes backwards, you cannot set it forwards like the date wheel. Never had a 7750 before so it just seems "weird" compared to all my others day/dates.
