Sinn 103 ti Ar back after 4 years

So, this watch was originally purchased from WUS member EZM1 in 2011.

It was reluctantly sold 4 years ago. Haven't seen one quite like it since. Due to the missing lume on the hands, it has a unique appearance.

Last week a similar watch popped up on my auction site home page, and upon further examination of the pics, it was indeed the same watch.

Missing lume from the hands was the giveaway. Getting a glimpse of the serial number was confirmation.

Wasn't really looking for another chrono, but seeing my old watch pop up for sale, I couldn't resist the urge.

I sniped at the closing seconds of the auction.

    Took delivery this morning.

first pic is march 2011, second pic is today...

Anyone have similar experience repurchasing a watch they had owned?

Congratulations! Don't really have enough turnover to have this happen yet, but I could definitely see it happening. The hollow hands look really cool and definitely make it a unique piece. Good to see you around, dude. The EZM1 you sold me is still the center-piece of my collection.

    Awesome!
Perhaps that will be my next re-purchase.
    Enjoy!

Did the lume actually fall out somehow, or was it modded? They look like UTC hands from a different model! Though, I don't think there are any UTC minute hands :)

Re: Sinn 103 ti Ar back after 4 years

I had two chances to buy again a watch already sold: one was a Sinn 203 Ti Ar on bracelet, originally bought by me in 1996, so a very early example, and the watch appeared with box and all the paperwork at a second-hand watch dealer approx. 5-6 years ago - for a very low price...
The other one was a Tudor Prince date+day with a special california dial (it was special because the watch has the whithe gold bezel and had originally a blue dial).
A decided both times to pass them again because if I decided once to sell I must have had a good reason for that. And now I'm ambivalent if I did the good thing or not. Neither gained enough wrist time so I must have been right :) After all it's never a question of life-or-death... :)
Enjoy the 130 Ti Ar! It's a beauty!
