    Sinn 140a just landed

Just got my Sinn 140a. Feels like I've been waiting all year on this one. Great watch. Feels a little cool retro. Says it's the first Auto Chrono in space.

    Beautiful, congratulations!

How do you like the strap, weight, etc?

Looks great. I have a 142 and I enjoy it a lot. Any idea how old yours is?

I believe Sinn stopped making the "first auto in space" claim because it was later revealed that the first auto was actually a Seiko chrono (can't remember the model no)

1 day old. This is the SZ01 movement. They just made 500. Well they are going to make 500. Watchbuys said this is the second one they shipped in the USA.

I didn't really like the leather in pictures. But the bracelet isn't available yet. Watchbuys said they will let me know when it's done. But in person it's a nice strap. The layered leather is good. I don't think I'll bother trying any other leather straps.

I love the chrono sweep and chrono minute jump when the second hand hits 12.

    Rotating inner bezel is nice.

Case is feels great on the wrist. It's tall enough I thought it could be top heavy, but it's really wearable.

I'd put it right up there with the best of them. Definitely one of a few watches I won't ever be flipping.

I believe that would be the 6139-6002, or 'Pogue' seiko.

This watch looks great though - I really dig the yellow chrono hands.

Yes. I'll take some good pictures this weekend. The top and vertical sides are brushed very lightly. The angled edges are polished.

I have one on order but I am not sure if at this point I want it or will keep it. So, I am very interested in seeing more photos and your impressions of the watch. I do like that the minute counter hand jumps. Are the subdial hands really yellow? Many photos made them look more orange. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.
