Sinn 142 Ti - opinions and scans plz!

    Dear Forumners,

having a 6.75" wrist I have my eyes on the Sinn 142 Ti on bracelet. How should it fit my thin wrist? What is your general opinion about this watch? How long will be spare parts for the LWO 5100 be available? Do you have scans about this watch, on arm and/or in low light so as to see the luminescence (Superluminova)?
Where can I get such a watch, is there a chance at AD-s? Won't accept the last series because of lack of continuous second indication. Used watch in good shape will also fit...

    Thx, regards: Robertus

I believe the chances of finding this much desirable discontinued model at an AD are exceedingly slim.

I have got the 142 TID1 witout the small seconds, works for me, because the "how accurate is your watch race" is not my cup of tea.
Gives me peace of mind so to say.
But wearing it is a joy, very light, and looking better with the new end links on the watch.
I'm not a big guy, but the weight and comfort are perfect for my average wrists.
The lume is excellent as well.
If you can get one for a good price, go for it.
Spare parts for the Lemania 5100 are no problem in the near future, it has been around for about 30 years, and is a real workhorse.

    Cheers,

    Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!

Hi Daddel Virks, I work as a physician so I need continuous seconds for taking heart rate without using the chrono feature. Anyway, thx for the input! Others are also welcome! And scans:)

    Great collection!!!

Really ! Thx for shearing! BTW: Do the neon-orange hands also light in darkness? Is the clasp of the strap on the black 142 also black or steel-color?

Here's mine which I bought locally.

If you need a continuous running seconds hand, just start the chronograph.

Try watchbuy who is a Sinn AD and sells online. They may have some remaining stock.

    Cheers

has anyone tried on the new 142 yet?

I'm curious how it will feel compared to the original 142.
