    Sinn 356/358 or 756

I'm recently getting into Sinns. I like the utilitarian designs, matte colors, interesting technologies, and the thought of walking around with "sinn" on my wrist.

For the Sinn community, what's your take on the 356/358 series compared to the 756's?

For the longest time I thought I wanted a 358. But recently in really liking the simple look of the 756. I like thick bands and I think if the 756 had a little bigger case and a 22mm band, that would be my watch.

356 is 38.5mm, 756 is 40mm, 358 is 42mm. 356/756 has 20mm band width. 358 has 22mm. 356/358 are Flieger watches. 756 is more Sinn utilitarian tool watch. Can't go wrong with any of them.

I like all of the Sinn Fliegers. Personally, I'd choose a 103 UTC as (1) a timing bezel is a must have for me and (2) I like the 2nd time zone as my wife travels. I do like the 756/7, but the lack of the constant seconds hand is a deal breaker for me.

I had a 756 and now have a 358. I actually reallyreallyreally liked everything about the 756 except that it seemed gigantically thick.

I love my 358 in every way.

    Here's some pics of mine:

Sorry the second one doesn't show exactly what I wanted. Looking at these now, though, I'd definitely buy another 756 in a second.

As ten13th said, you can't go wrong with the ones you are considering. It boils down to the size and look you prefer on your wrist. Keep us posted, please, on what you pick. Cheers, Bill P.

Of course the 757 has a rotating bezel. Thats completely different for me. I dont want n external rotating bezel.

    Re: Sinn 356/358 or 756

BTW. Even though the spec says 356/358 and 756 are almost same in thickness. They will wear and perceive completely differently. The 356/358 have the tall dome lens on top which help reduce the perceived thickness. While 756 is just flat top which works against hiding any thickness. I had wanted a 756 until I tried one on during the WatchBuys roadshow, it just looked too thick and wears thicker than it should.
