    Sinn 356 vs 103....

I've been thinking about getting one of these with plexy and steel bracelet for some time now, which one do you prefer and why? Also, do they worth the money nowdays?

    Both great!
Totally worth the money (especially the 103, really a bargain for what it is). My thoughts:
The 356 measures smaller, and looks a bit smaller, but has a substantial depth in the case that photographs don't capture well (that seems to be the case with most Sinn watches: they look shallower in photos). The 103 acrylic feels slimmer on wrist than the 103 sapphire, with the plateau steel case back in place of the exhibition case back. Having said that, it's still a substantial watch that feels bigger on wrist than, for instance, a Submariner. The 103 tends to overpower some straps, especially if the strap has a lot taper (like Sinn straps do). I have two Sinn straps that I like quite a bit, and wear occasionally, but to me the watch feels more balanced on the Sinn H-link bracelet. The 356, on the other hand, feels beautifully elegant on most straps. You get more colorful dial choices on the 356. If you're interested in Sinn technologies, the 103 line is where you'll find them (although not in the basic acrylic version).
The intangibles: the 103 feels like the classic Sinn chronograph. If you're into identifying with a brand and their history, the 103 is as Sinn as it gets.
Here are some pictures from the recent Road Show in San Francisco. The 103 is my personal watch.
    Happy choosing!

Very close call, but I really like the friction bezel and polished case of the 103. I would recommend the 103 over the 356, unless you have very thin wrists.

    Good luck!

My vote goes to the 356. I’m eyeing another Sinn right now and will most likely part with mine soon, but it will always be one of my favorites. My wrist is about 7 3/4 inches:

The 356 is the chosen one i think, i really prefer the sandblasted finish of the case and also the "Flieger" over the "Automatik" dial... Regarding size i think the 356 will fit nicely on my 6.5" wrists. Thanks everyone for the pics!

You can't go wrong with either.

Personally, I like my watches with rotating bezels, so 103 would be my choice.

I’m a simple soul and just like the look of the 103 better.

I think you can get away with both depending on the shape of your wrist. The diapal and ti versions don't have fleiger or automatik and the ti has a nice matte finish but does cost more.

I picked up a 103 ti diapal and enjoy it.
