    Sinn Alcantara strap

Does anyone own the Alcantara gray strap, or have seen it in person? From the photos it looks nice, but it's about $100 so curious the quality and how it feels. I think it's more of a fabric type material vs leather?

Alcantera is synthetic suede. It is commonly used in higher end car and race car applications. It’s really just an expensive version of a product called “ultra suede”. Overall it is nice looking, but doesn’t like to get wet particularly and can get dirty pretty quickly. My steering wheel is alcantera and I love it in that application... not sure about a watch band though?
