    Which Sinn to commit ?

Hi! Been contemplating to buy my first Sinn and have narrowed it down to either the 104 white dial or the 857. Both seem to be great beaters but I’d like your opinion regarding which is the better of the two. Thanks!

They are both gorgeous watches, but I typically prefer a dark-dial watch for regular wear.

I'm getting my 104 white dial within the next week or two...I'll let you know then.

No contest for me... 857 for the win

Tegimented, AR, Antimagnetic, better movement and blasted finish. S (PVD) version available too.

If your goal is a "beater" or more rugged watch, then, for all the reasons mentioned by Spring-Diver, absolutely the Sinn 857.

Based on Watchbuys stock emails, the 104 series is currently more popular, and probably a lot easier to flip if you are not certain on how long you will keep the watch.

    Best of luck!

I'd say the 104 is more of an Every Day Wear with great versatility as it dresses way up or down if you go from a fine link bracelet or to a NATO/Zulu. The 857 is more the "tool" watch as it's going to be either bead blasted or black. Since the OP specifically used the term "beater" the 857 is the better choice. Bet it won't be his first Sinn either.
