    Sinn D3-System crown actual photos

I believe these are the actual photos of Sinn D3-System crown. The photos appeared at website in 2010 and I found long time ago. I was very curious about crown design at that time so I saved the link.

The case looks like an engineering prototype for me. Case back has no sign at all.

There is not a word about an "engineering prototype" in the original post.

It was posted on another website in 2010 and sounds to me like someone found a watchmaker who was going to build him a lookalike U1000 Frankenwatch with various bits and pieces acquired from Sinn and elsewhere (e.g. Valjoux 7750) along the way. As he was unable to source the necessary dial from Sinn (wisely enough only available from Sinn in exchange) he put up the case for sale.

A case of aborted Frankenwatch it seems.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.

Thanks for the info...but we all agree that D3-system is the real one?
