    Sinn EZM 1 LE questions

    - Is the silicone strap suitable for a small wrist?
    - Does the bracelet have solid-end-links?
    - Do you think it is worth US$4250? This is the price for it in Singapore.
    - What is the price for the bracelet version in the US?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi KLC,

I think I can answer most of your questions.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and the strap fits me nicely.
Much to my disappointment the endlinks are not solid.
What's important is if you think its worth $4250 US.
WatchBuys sold their 50 piece allotment for $3500 US (in 20 seconds).

Here's my babies for your viewing pleasure:

    They sold for $3,500.

Maybe if he didnt buy three (but one) two more collectors, that really wanted to own the watch would have been successful buying one

Todd, I couldn't disagree with you more.

The only place where demand out weighs supply for this watch is in the US and I didn't source any of mine from the 50 alloted to the US AD.

The first two are staying in the family and will be worn regularly (wearing mine right now). So I guess you could say they did end up in the hands of collectors. The third one was a windfall that will probably go to a US collector. So in reality one more US collector will have the opportunity to own this wonderful piece that otherwise would not have, had I not gotten an extra. Thanks for asking though.

I had an EZM 1 sometme back that has a solid-end-link bracelet. Well, it was at least more solid than the bracelet of the other EZM 1 one I had at that time.

    What happened to this batch?

Not to be contentious, but after reading this several times through and through, the logic escapes me.

    Sorry!

While the Sinn is a nice watch, it is not $4250.00 nice, especially if your buying it just because it looks nice. If you want a watch because your a serious diver and your going to spend $4000+, buy a used 90%+ Rolex seadweller or submariner. I have a GMT II-C and it's fine for the diving I do. The Rolex will hold its value better too. Better yet buy a U1. I doubt there are even 2% of people buying these dive watches that do serious deep diving requiring the EZM specs or the specs of other watches.

And a little bit more saving will get you the new Ploprof! Serious piece of kit, that one!

EZM 1 is not a dive watch.
