Sinn purchase in North America....just Watchbuys?

I have a U1....had it since 2015....got it from Watchbuys.

Now I want (need?) a U1 SE......just love the black case and old style lume, etc, and of course the U1 in general...

i am in Canada, and get that Watchbuys has somehow cornered the North American market, but outside fleabay and the sales forum (many of who will only ship to the CONUS), any other suggestions for somewhere I could snag me a U1 SE?
I have been trying reaallllly hard to keep it below 20, but have just given up now.

As far as I can tell it’s Watchbuys or Watchbuys.

Watchbuys is currently the exclusive distributor for Sinn in North America. You can try your luck with Chrono24 - lots of Sinn watches on there.

After many years of trying to find a gently used U1 in Toronto, I gave up and just purchased a brand new U1 B Tegimented, from Watchbuys. It truly sucks that there is not even one Sinn AD in Canada. I got destroyed on the federal customs duties and taxes.

I hope that the watch turns out to be better than you expected - at least it'll be some compensation for the customs hassles.

Not to provoke a flame-war, but I have to add my voice to those who are a bit mystified at Sinn's strictly-enforced policy of making US/Canadian market the exclusive monopoly of a single outlet with neither a retail shop nor repair facilities of its own. This in contrast to the situation in other countries where there are multiple retailers and repair stations available.

It would be interesting to know Sinn's reasoning behind doing this.

    Update...

As you may have noted in other threads, I snagged a minty U1SE in a trade with another WUS and could not be happier!

So no need to splash the full retail plus customs duty/tax on a Watchbuys romp.....

Very simple. Sales. The US is a big market, but not the biggest. Sinn is basically a boutique outfit. They just don’t produce that many watches considering... just they way they control their market. Watchbuys has a few exclusive dealer brands.
    Too many flipped...

North America is actually Sinn’s second largest market. Germany is first, of course.

I wonder if there's a price difference buying, say, a U1 in Germany versus the US. If I had to be there anyway, is there a cheapest shop to get a Sinn in .... or even set up a mailbox (like the swiss do)? Any ideas?
