    Sinn silicone strap clasp questions

Hi everyone, I'm looking to get a silicone strap for my Sinn T2B. I'm not too keen on paying the $480USD for a titanium clasp, so thinking of getting the tegimented instead. Word is that the colour match is pretty good. Anyone have any photos of a titanium Sinn and a tegimented clasp or tegimented watch/bracelet for that matter. Just want to see how close they colour match. Can't decide between the small and large clasp either...

FYI for Canadians, the Canadian AD (J Vair Anderson) can order in straps at much better prices with the exchange rate/tax/duty than watchbuys.

Also, if anyone has a clasp (or clasp and blue silicone) for a 20mm strap they're looking to part with, PM me!

Re: Sinn silicone strap clasp questions

The T series bracelets are not tegimented and AFAIK they’re grade 2 titanium. Depending on the lighting it’s a decent match or a total fail.
The silicone straps clasp is not tegimented either. My T1 came with a tegimented clasp, but I think someone at Watchbuys messed up.

Like the EZM9/10, the T series should have been fully tegimented IMO.

If Sinn makes a 20mm tegimented titanium clasp I highly suggest you go for it. My T1B has the regular titanium clasp and it definitely shows swirlies. Where as the tegimented clasp on the T1 is still mint.

    Good luck!

    Cheers
    Shannon

Re: Sinn silicone strap clasp questions

Thanks for the input Shannon. I talked to J Vair Anderson (the new Canadian AD). Long story short is that my only option was to order in the titanium clasp (large, not compact). The invoice says tegimented titanium, so hoping that it actually is. I'll let you know. Not too terribly concerned about marks/scratches on the claps, but tegiment is always better! looking forward to finally trying out the T2B on the strap, should be a fun change. Price was way better than buying through the US, so that helped.

    You’re welcome Sir

Totally agree on the tegimented color. Even though the T series bezels are tegimented its not even close to my fully tegimented EZM9 which is much darker. Hence a fully tegimented T would be super awesome
