    Sinn T2B disaster

never let your toddler play with your sinn..

It was banged on the side of the tub (water but not shock resistant, apparently) and is now refusing to run. Watch purchased 2017 from watchbuys. What am I looking at for repairs? Obviously it will depend on what went wrong, but common things being common? Not covered under warranty I would imagine.

    thanks
    tcc (still have my 103)

No experience with something like that, but Sinn has a price sheet on their customer service page (sans shipping). I have to presume RGM wouldn’t be any worse.

Reach out to watchbuys, I’ve found them responsive.

A Sinn diver should not be defeated by a toddler. I'd send it in under warranty.

Doesn’t take much, at just the right angle/velocity to kill a movement. I dropped a watch (not Sinn mind you) from about 18” off the floor and it snapped the hairspring right off. Generally I would agree with you, but as mentioned... doodoo occurs.
    Too many flipped...

    2892-a2 uses Incabloc

Maybe warranty??? If it was one of the selitta movements... there is the excuse to change it to ETA.

A kid taking a watch and whacking it against something is not a warranty issue

All you can do is send it to RGM.... if you get lucky, maybe it will be covered under the warranty. Won't know until you send it in and they take a look and see what they say. I'd just send it in and see....

but watch failed under normal use is, and a small jolt whether delivered from a toddler or knock while swinging your arm is normal use.

    warranty issue.
