Sinn warranty - transferrable with ownership?

    Hi guys,

I am in the UK and I'm possibly getting a second hand Sinn, which originally came from the UK AD (and the warranty is stamped as such.)

My question is whether the warranty (which has the original purchasers name on it) would be valid for me as the 3rd owner. The watch is a 756S and is 4 months old.

    Cheers,

    Guy

your best best is to contact the Sinn UK AD and ask them directly because not all AD's may have the same warranty policy.

here in the US, the AD's warranty only apply to the original owner (purchaser). once the watch changes hands, they will not provide warranty service. the new owner still has warranty coverage from Sinn (provided of course, the warranty hasn't expired) and must deal directly with Sinn to arrange servicing and ship the watch to Germany.

Seems like you're spot on there. I just spoke to the only UK AD and he said that I'd have to deal with Sinn direct.

    Thanks for your help.
