    Question Swapping hands U1 - U2 ?

    Hello all,

I really like the U1, but not its Lego-lookalike hands.

Could it be possible to buy a U1, and a set of U2 hands separately from Sinn ? I'll then put these on the U1 by myself.

Do Sinn sell this kind of parts to customers ?

If so, the U1 will be my next buy, that's for sure. If not, I'll buy something else, sadly.

    Thanks.

I think it can be done (IIRC, someone had it done and posted pictures on the forum here a while back). I don't think the U2 hands work with the U1 due to the blocky hour markers of the dial.

Exactly, it would need a dial swapy as well in order to look right. The dial would need the baton hands of the U2.

I know its personal preference...but I think the block hands are what makes the U1 unique
