    T2 beauty

Oh man, I had forgotten just how much I liked having a T2 until this arrived this morning. Really one of the best of the best. Super light too.

Your T2 has a solid look to it. Enjoy your T2 the second time around.

Never get tired of looking at the T2!
When some a wild-eyed 8 foot tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the bar room wall and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asked you if you’ve paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye and you remember what ol’ Jack Burton always says at a time like that: Have you paid your dues Jack? “Yessir the check is in the mail”

    Current lineup: ROLEX 126600 Sea-Dweller red-Line. Casio GPR-B1000. Seiko SKX007. Casio PRW-2500. Casio PAW-1500.

    Re: T2 beauty

It already has been plenty wet already.

I should clarify that I've never had anything against Sinn as a brand. This is my second T2 and I was as pleased with it then as I am now. I sold it at the time to fund a watch that I thought was a grail, turns out it wasn't and I have regretted it since then.

I think part of my lack of bonding with the U1T was that I had high expectations from my previous Sinn that weren't matched.

My feeling is that the first few weeks of having a new watch are formative weeks, it's where you get to uncover all the nuances of wearing it. I had a bad experience first up with the regulation which meant that the first few weeks of ownership weren't with me at all - but back with the Sinn AD. When I bought the U1T I had been in the shop and eyeing off the T2 and comparing the T2 and the U1T together. My reasoning was that I had already had and sold the T2, and there were things that I hadn't liked, so it was in the end better to buy the U1. In retrospect, that was fundamentally flawed reasoning. I knew I really liked the T2 and when the U1 needed regulation I was just kicking myself that I hadn't bought it instead, I went so far as to tell Peter from Define Watches that when I was on the phone to him. When I got the U1 back, it was working really well but there was the seed of doubt had already been strongly planted. It was only a matter of time before I got Peter on the phone and bought the T2, it really was what I wanted in the first place, I just needed the time with the U1 to know that.

Anyway, I really love the T2. Think this one is a keeper.

Beautiful watch, I just wish it cost a little less. Has Sinn retired this watch? I don't see it on their website anymore. Watchbuys still has them though. Odd.
