    U1 Differences

I notice some difference in the U1’s from watch to watch.

Notice the font used in the date wheel is different in the 2 watches pictured.

Also the # engravings on the bezel are much more finely detailed and smaller on the watch with the more detailed font. i.e. the 7 with the slight curve at the ends ( hope it comes out in the pics as I really need a macro function for these types of close ups)

Interestingly, the watch that has the finer bezel lettering and different date wheel ( unique in all the U1’s I have already bought and sold ) was purchased directly from the Sinn Factory – the paperwork is strictly Sinn , no authorized dealers name.

Very interesting ... perhaps LRIP versus full series production? Or different batches?

    That´s real life chaps! B-)
I know this discussions from other watch forums, it´s interesting but does´t lead anywhere.
The same watches can be different, like the same cars or other things. Even twins are different people.
I have 3 Rolex Submariners from different production years, and they all have small differences. So what?!
But there is no good or bad, no right or wrong.

I don't think the point is for it to lead anywhere. It is just interesting that someone would notice and share the observation.

The main observation , is the watch that is different - is directly from Sinn - all the other U1's I have seen have been the same.

I wonder if Sinn keeps track of "their" watches by using these different features.

Pureslab, which is the "newer" U1? The one with the curved 7 or the other?

Kindly share with us. Interesting observation, IMHO.

    Pureslab,

Nice detective work. FWIW -- I received my U1 recently from Watchbuy as part of the "waiting list." Upon on inspection, my U1 has the "finer" lettering and the curved 7 font.
