    U1 - let's see some owner's pics

toying with the idea of buying an U1 to add to my U2...but not 100% sure about it. need some pics to inspire my decision-making. does anyone have some good pics of the watch or knows of a link to a gallery?

the U1's hands and clean dial might be enough to justify buying a 'redundant' watch.

let's see some pics if you please! B-)

    Hi,

    my opinion:

I cannot understand your idea. If you have a U1 a second buy to the U2 is expansive, but a good addition, I think. But the oposite: first U2 and than U2?
    No way, for me. :-S

A logical reason for an another watch would be the UX - this is a "new" watch with other features.

BTW: The U1 looks on small wrists bigger than the U2. This and the advanced technical features let me buy the U2, never the U1.

    Re: U1 - let's see some owner's pics

I see the U1 as a rather unique looking watch. The lego hands at first, to me, were a little wierd but with all the pics which were posted, I believe that they have grown on me a bit. As Denizen said, it's that clean uncluttered look. Somedays, I do take off my U2 and throw on my clean looking Seiko 6309. Just for that clean look.

I can see his reasoning. He likes the sub steel and what isn't there to like and he seems to be an automatic type person so, looking for a clean look and already having a U2, why not a U1. Hey, if you have the money and the desire to own one, that's all that's necessary.

    cheers,
    Tim

from a dial & hands perspective, imo there's not a lot incentive to get the UX since they're styled the same as the U2. in this respect, at least the U1 has its own unique look. i'm also not very keen on a quartz watch (even if it's rather innovative) for the UX's asking price.

    decisions, decisions!
