    U1T hand winding is weird?!

So I've had my U1T for a couple of months now, consistently gains 4 seconds a day and I'm really happy with it on the Hirsch Robby strap. Anyhow I've owned a lot of auto watches over the years and notice something weird. When I got the watch new I hand wound it 40 times as it says in the manual. No problems. But when I changed the Dar recently I went to manually wind to 'top up' the reserve and it was really stiff to wind. So I let it run to a stop which took 40 hours so the reserve is fine. Then I wound it and just as it hit 40 winds there was a big increase in resistance. No click just literally 3 times the resistance. So as I know you can't break an auto movement through hand winding because of the clutch I just wound it a further 10 times or so, no crunch or click. Screwed in the crown and its still working perfectly, gained 4 seconds as usual in the 24 hours since. I live in England and can't be bothered to send it to Germany yet as there isn't actually any functional problem - but anyone else ever had this issue, is it just a stiff clutch? I'm sure I had an Oris with an eta 2824 in the past before I knew much about movements which was the same and never broke. I think it's a bit weird especially as it has worked fine for over 8 weeks since I bought it

Well I've decided to send it in to Sinn - spoke to the AD and he confirms it isn't right. Annoying for a new watch but there you go.

Mine has the sellita - but no auto should be hard to wind when it is fully wound especially when new.

I can wind mine on and on and it doesn't change. Get yours checked.
