    U2 Bezel and Crown

Anyone have any experience with the U2? I have had it for about a year and a half. I love it, but sometimes it seems like the bezel is stuck/doesn't move quite right. Also, it seems like the crown winds tough.

I've had my U2 for the same amount of time; haven't had either of those issues, however...

Have you used the watch in rough circumstances or just out generally in the elements? Could there be a buildup of dirt/sand/gunk in the bezel mechanism? The bezels are intentionally fitted with a bit of a loose action to avoid this, but I could imagine it getting a bit stuck if a whole lot of sand made it in there for example?

Mostly desk diving and some light beach action. It seems to clear out after rotating the bezel, but I haven't noticed other dive watch bezels getting stuck. I can't really tell if the bezel or crown are an issue or if it is a Sinn trait. Just like cars with their unique ticks.

Try pushing down on the bezel a little before you move it. Take a close look at the threads on your crown tube, could need a little cleaning.
    Too many flipped...

Yeah I wouldn't necessarily consider what you've described to be a typical Sinn trait.... for what that's worth.

Unscrew the screws about half way, take it off and clean it. YouTube it first to see what I'm talking about.

Apart from going off to Germany for a service last year, I have worn my U2 literally every day since I bought it 22 June 2007.

Bezel works perfectly. I think the Crown was replaced at service.

I don't "baby" this watch, yet it still looks great.
