UX or EZM3 or ? and why?

Would you choose a UX, an EZM3 or some other 3 hander and why?

Between those two ...UX, however I would seriously considered titanium as in the EZM9 or the T1 series.

    UX vs EZM 3
    Quartz vs auto
    Stupendous depth rating vs awesome
Not dressy vs a bit dressy
    Drilled lugs vs not
    44mm vs 41mm and a bit thinner.

EZM 3 can be had as a 3 or a 3F (white date, count down bezel)

Really no bad choice here, pick what calls to you.

Of the two, I'd personally choose the EZM 3, as it seems visually a bit more flexible, while the UX is more of a statement. The oil filling in the UX is quite a conversation starter though. Consider also the EZM 3F - the dial is cleaned up a little, and I find countdown bezels slightly more useful than standard dive bezels.

In terms of others, I have an EZM 9 and a 556i and I would cheerfully recommend either. The EZM 9 is pure overbuilt tech, particularly the tegimented titanium and the sapphire bezel. The 556i is really flexible, comfortable in a suit or casual.

UX, I like the way it looks a lot more, hands/dial/bezel/and crown. The only thing I don't like about my UX is the size of the bubble.

There is only one down side to the UX, having to send it to Germany for a battery - otherwise it’s an amazing watch! I love mine, had it for 7 years and don’t think I’d ever sell it - may change my mind after I have to deal with Germany this year.

At one point I had both. However, I sold off the UX once I acquire an EZM2, the original hydro Sinn. EZM2 is the same size as EZM3, they are just about the perfect size watch for me. UX was a bit on the bulky side for my 7.4" wrist.

EZM 3F has EZM 1 look minus chrono.
Perfect size and weight looks great on bracelet or strap.

Re: UX or EZM3 or ? and why?

Really, not a fair comparison, they are entirely different watches. Yes, both are “divers” but totally different watches. I’ve had both, and they are both my all time favorite Sinns. Just sold an EZM3 and bought the original EZM2 Hydro. The Hydros are just freakin’ cool. Yes, they have to go back to the mothership for service, but that averages 7 years. My UX went almost 8. The size is different, the movement is different, (Hydro’s have a temp compensated quartz movement, the UX is COSC) the steel is different, (though both are highly anti-magnetic). Really, it simply depends on which one suits your needs best. The UX is a beast of a watch, a tank really. On the bracelet it is quite heavy and has serious presence. It is still very comfortable as a daily. The EZM3 is more subtle, not as heavy (though robust) but still carries a nice presence. You really can’t go wrong with either...

I think I really need to see these in real life to get a better idea. Some good views there, those who own the ux, did it being quartz ever annoy you or play on your mind?
