WatchBuys NYC Road Show Registration Open

WatchBuys has now opened reservations for their next Road Show in Midtown Manhattan.

Although the event is free advance registration is required.

They have scheduled a total of nine shows over a three day period from Friday, December 14 through Sunday, December 16 and you may choose the day and time that works best for you.

The New York shows always book to full capacity so register as soon as possible.

I highly recommend that you attend a Road Show if you have not done so already as it is a great way to see a collection of watches that you won’t find in stores, all in a no pressure, no sales environment.

At this event they will welcome Joerg Dandl, Director of Sales for Sinn in Frankfurt, Germany who brings a wealth of knowledge about the brand and will be available to answer all of your Sinn watch questions.

Re: WatchBuys NYC Road Show Registration Open

Attended this morning's session - my first WatchBuys roadshow. I thought it was well-organized, a fabulous opportunity to handle a broad range of their watches, and a nice way to meet the people behind the brand. The room never got crowded and I felt they were happy to speak with me and answer all the questions I had. Good work, gents!

What caught my eye? The Dornblueth 99.0, Jaeger & Benziger, and Sinn 857 UTC. Pix to follow.

I just got back from this afternoon’s roadshow and I agree; job well done. Tim, Rob and Jon repped the German brands ( and the Swiss Fortis) ably at the Grand Hyatt.
I had a nice time chatting up Joerg Dandl, Sinn’s Dir. of Sales- mostly about the Damaszener. He said it took “nine different steel producers to get the Damascus steel just right” before Sinn settled on Balbach Damast. The difficult thing in particular was to “get the folds in the steel just right” to ensure no corrosion” even before the tegimented process. Honestly, I thought my Jaeger& Benziger was stunning, and it is. But... this Sinn 1800 In Damascus steel was a wonder to behold. I’m getting number 92...Only 8 left.
