Why are some Sinns labeled Swiss Made and others not?

I note that on many Sinn 103s that I see, the face is stamped SWISS MADE but on others it is missing. Is there a rhyme or reason for this? Is this an indication of when the watch was made or where it was intended for sale? Just wondering.

Also does anybody have a rough "birth date" for a Sinn 103 that is in the 11600 range? So far my emails to Sinn in Germany have been unanswered on trying to find out any information and I can't plan a birthday celebration (with cake) until I get a rough idea. Thanks!

Early Sinn watches were made in Switzerland for Sinn. At some point
the company became large enough to move production in house. I
    don't know when that occurred.

    Thanks,

we can guess that it was after the 1994 purchase by L Schmidt?
