Will Sinn come out with a 41mm or 42mm "U" series?

Anybody know if something is in the works for a 41mm or 42mm U series? Love the look; not a big fan of the current 44mm size.

    Thanks

    Ask them? I’d be interested.
The next watch I get will definitively, finally, and without a question, be my last one!

Will do. Didn't know if anybody on this board had some inside info.

I’ve asked Watchbuys this same question a couple of times over the past few years. I think they get this feedback with some regularity and pass it on to the folks at Sinn. Doesn’t appear to be having much of an impact.

I would be interested in this size also since the 44mm U1 was just a bit too large and heavy for me, had to let it go.

I would be totally interested in this, HOWEVER only if they made it MUCH thinner than the typical U series watch. At smaller sizes, the thick U watches just look and feel odd....
To me, for this to be reasonable in 41 or 42, it would really need to be 14mm or under. Preferably far under (like 12).

41-42mm 12mm high. That would probably sell really well.

For those looking for a smaller dive watch in Sinn's range, the T2 is absolutely on the money as far as proportions go. Otherwise, I believe the overall aesthetic of the U1 range is in fact dependent on it's size as a grounding principle. I'm not convinced it would feel as solid, or if the design carry as much presence visually if shrunken down.

**I owned a U1 SE for a couple months and moved it on because of the size. I did not wish for a smaller version, however

Totally! Give it a ceramic bezel or a tegimented bezel like the other divers and I'd be all over it. Although I'd prefer one with the rugged U2/U1000/UX/T character/appearance more, if we're wishing....

EDIT: Ah yes, I had forgotten this thread was called "U" series lol. But glad to see my comments are in line with the OP's sentiment.
