Would You Own More Sinn if More White Dials Existed?

Was recently at the HQ's in Frankfurt and enjoyed browsing the watch collection as well as older limited edition models. I will be creating a separate post for that since was very pleased with their customer service for an issue I had.

Anyhow, I've always wondered why Sinn doesn't venture into more non-black colored dials. Don't get me wrong, I love many of their watches. However, I'm in the market for a nice white faced watch and would like to buy a Sinn but it's not an option. I know they have a few, but I think there could be many more attractive models. Even some of their flagship watches could probably be reversed with white dials and black hands.

Oh well, just pondering. Curious to hear others' opinions.

Full lume dials would entice me. Like the old 657, but on more models.

One of the biggest issues for Sinn producing white dial dive watches is that black lume is terrible.
The 104 is fantastic and there was a beautiful 103 LE several years ago.

A black dial is more visible and more in keeping with the tool watch aesthetic. When white dial sport watches are done well, they can be very cool, but not all are done well.

I think the 104I-W is a great looking white dial, but I am not sure it would work across all of Sinn’s line-up.

Doesn’t need a white dial to get me on board. I’d own more Sinns if I had a fatter wallet.

The U1-W was a Watchbuys exclusive. I've tried to get Watchbuys to do it again but no luck. It wouldn't be a limited edition if they did and those who did buy would be a little upset.

I see how that would affect the value of U1W if the new edition were too similar. Take a page out of Speedmaster, make the change just enough to view it as a new version, but keep the white dial.
