44mm F1 Grande Date too large for 6.75" wrist?

I really like the look of the current Grande Date F1's. I've comfortably worn a 42mm Luminox, my 40mm Damasko, 40mm Citizen Eco-Drive and my old Tag F1 midsize.

I don't want to drop hundreds on a watch that looks oddly large though...

My experience is the diving bezel usually makes a watch wear a bit smaller than a watch that's more crystal and less bezel like my Citizen or Damasko, which wear pretty large for a 40mm.

I could spend half the money and get a perpetual Eco-Drive, but the mineral crystals on Citizens seem to scratch if you look at them funny...

I used to own that watch in all black and I have the same size wrist. I thought it fit perfectly. Go to an AD and try it on.

Hey there, I have 6.5" wrists and wear the watch very comfortably. I think the integrated lug design makes it very wearable despite the 44mm diameter.

I´m attaching a wristshot so you can get an idea.

I´m very pleased with the watch btw, feels very well made, very good all around watch.

    Go for it!

Thx Chimi - Looks good. I agree that the lugless design seems to make the larger diameter wear better on a smaller wrist.
