My First Fortis - B-42 GMT Diver

I posted these pics in the public forum, but wanted to join in on the Fortis forum since I am so freaking excited about this watch.

The blued hands are beautiful and like how they go from blue to black as pictured below. It is one of the cleanest looking GMT's I've seen!

It stands for Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the watch has a second hour hand (the skinny one with the triangle tip on the watch pictured above). Though I did not have it set yet for my time zone, so it is a little off. Now I have it set, spot on.

I looks great! I've been on the edge of buying the black-dialed version myself. Maybe you could answer a question I posted in another thread recently. How many clicks are there on your bezel? It seems like there usually is 60 clicks but that fortis might have started using 120 clicks on the newly produced watches.

Correct. B-42 bezel has 120 clicks instead of 60 clicks in Official Cosmonauts.

    hmm...

The one I'm talking about is also a "B-42". The Fortis B-42 Cosmonaut GMT.

Or do you mean that the B-42 Diver with the white dial has 120 clicks but that the Cosmonaut that has a black dial has 60 clicks?

I find it really odd that they are different. I mean they must use the same case and bezel. The only thing different is the dial and hands?

Mine has 60 clicks. It lines up correctly though, which I believe some people were having issues with. It does seem to make sense that there are 60 minutes in an hour, so 60 clicks? I am a freak about aesthetics and was very pleased to see it line up correctly. I actually sent a watch back to get the bezel lined up correctly before, but only would seem to work if it has an insert. Not sure it could be done with this watch???

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I 'll speak for my Fortis.

Official Cosmonauts Automatic has a 60 clicks bezel.

B-42 Official Cosmonauts Chronograph Titanium Ltd Ed. 5100, has a 120 clicks bezel.

    I hope this help you.

    Dimitris
