    Vintage Fortis-help identify!

    hey fortis-ians, i have this ladies fortis inbound (thought it was funky for my wife to sport)

    here is what i know:
    BEJEWELED H.DUVOISIN -FORTIS- 17J UNADJ
    1/20 12K GF DIAMOND BAND
    UNIQUE FORTIS DAIL 12 GEMS FOUR RUBYS AT THE 12- 3- 6- 9 O'CLOCK ALL OTHERS EIGHT DIAMONDS

    anyone have any idea what is the deal with this watch?

    i doubt they are real diamonds on the band, but maybe on the dial.

    any thoughts?

    From the era that the watch appears to be they are probably industrial grade diamonds. Real, but typically not worth a whole lot. H.DUVOISIN is likely the movement maker. Its a 17 Jewel movement that was Unadjusted.
