    Re: Engineer II Marvelight

    Hi all
I am looking for info on this watch. I am looking for a more affordable alternative to the Rolex DJ41.
The Engineer II in white has a similar look.
Does anyone have thoughts or reviews on the Marvelight? Average cost? Pros or Cons?
I have not seen the watch, so I would be buying sight unseen.

If anyone has wrist shots of the white I would love to see them!

I have blue Marvelight and I have been very happy with it. Actually I have been so satisfied that I have thought that I would buy also pearl dialed Marvelight.

I was also searching cheaper alternative to Rolex and I think I got great bang for the buck. There is hard to say anything bad about Marvelight; finishing, movement, case design, size, lume etc. Nothing to complain about when you keep on your mind that this watch cost something like 1300-1400 € as new (used and in gois shape it costs about 1000 €).

The only thing I would have done in a different way is the bracelet. There is nothing wrong with the quality but for my taste the centre links are too polished and bling bling. They are also a bit too thick. I would have hoped that centre links would have been as thick as other links. That is why the bracelet is bit too heavy and bulky. But now when I have used Marvelight several months, I'm ok with the bracelet.

And one thing has to be said: I think Marvelight has to be used with that bracelet. I first thought that I would use it with leather strap but it was hard to find leather strap that would have looked great with Marvelight. Many was ok but none was great so I change back that bracelet.
