    BR 01/03 Synthetic Strap Replacement

    Hi!

I'm in the process of purchasing a 01-96, and have been coming across an issue that was somewhat unexpected. I was able to order a ribbed strap in large from the BR site directly, but it seems that pretty much every other option is out of stock. I have just under 8.5 inch wrist, so finding straps is a common issue, but I assumed (my mistake) that with larger watches it would be slightly easier. I'd like to try and find either an orange strap, in either the rubber or fabric/nylon (hook & loop), that would fit. It seems there are offerings but some with less than ideal reviews. Any personal experiences you'd care to share? The 01-96 would be worn in rotation with my Seiko Darth Tuna, so I'd like to add some color to the mix. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I cannot wear leather, so unfortunately those are not options I'd like to explore. Thanks in advance for your help folks.

B&R Bands sells some orange straps, but they may not be made of the material you're interested in.

I bought this orange 5-ring Zulu heavy duty strap from Nato Strap. Co. https://natostrapco.com/collections/...ch-straps/24mm

Greg Stevens Design is a custom strap maker and can probably fix you up with an orange model. Here's the link to the strap size page of his website:

    Hello,
If you don’t mind my asking: did you need to use adapters of any kind to put the NATO strap on your watch?

    Thank you,
    BB

To correct myself, I bought my Black-Ops. Black XII Z5™ 5-ring ZULU from the NATO Strap Co. The orange NATO was from Greg Stevens.

Neither the orange NATO strap nor the black ZULU strap required the use of an adapter. The ZULU is thicker than the NATO but not too thick to prevent it from fitting between the tubes and the watch.

NATO Strap Co. also offers both 2-piece NATO straps and 3-ring ballistic nylon straps.

    Here's the black 5-ring ZULU.
