    A 1971 A3630 comes into my collection

    Hello

A new Zenith acquisition which was at the time the successor of the S58 and the competitor of the 5512, 5513 and Seamaster 300, the ref Zenith Subsea A3630. It is a rarer piece than the sub and seamaster 300 and powered by the excellent house caliber 2552pc which was one of Zenith's best house movements equivalent in quality to the Rolex 1575 and the Omega 565. This one comes from Germany. Pictures of the seller, I will post mine as soon as it arrives.Big Thanks also to Britsnj for redirecting me for getting the right set of hands for the A3630

    Have a nice week

    Sincerely

    Georges Zaslavsky

    Hi Georges,
    Congratulations!
It must be an early production for 1969, since it has cal. 2552 PC.
In fact ref. A3630 was only presented at the Basel fair in April 1968.
Would you mind sharing the case number and bracelet date?

Interesting, star caseback, GF ladder bracelet, diver with Martel movement. Quite unusual. It’s a nice watch with a succinct design.
