    Nice one of a kind specimen from one of my favorite watchmakers...not bad accuracy after 45 yrs of service. Must have been well cared for. Enjoy!

    Sounds like an excellent job by your watchmaker. Did you ask him if there was any mention of a patent number inside the case?

    I haven't had the watch opened especially when it works more than extremely well.

    Here is a thread on another forum of one person having the same than mine
