XXT and Sun & Moon Phase Vs Other Brands

Hello Zenith crew, I have been trying to nail down a 'larger' cost purchase that will occupy most weekday/office wrist time and have been looking at JLC MC line to GO Senator Observer and a few things in between. For some reason I originally ignored Zenith but since I started looking (only in the last day or 2) I enjoy (I think) the open heart, but love the moon & sun for sure as well as the Grand Date. With just over 8" wrist I also like the sizing. So, hoping you can help with a few questions:

    1) Who else makes a sun and moon as done by Zenith where the moon sits in front of the day/night dial that rotates independently? I can't seem to see any others done the same way.
    2) Anyone have the XXT or the chrono open/full open 45mm and has pics on wrist?
    3) Are the full open models with grand date/moon legible or is it tough in less than perfect light?
    4) Is there lume? I am going to check this now, for some reason I have not considered this specifically. Been looking at the other details too much i suppose.

Anyone have one of what I mentioned and can compare vs JLC and GO for overall fit/finish/movement?

    Thanks in advance!

    1. Lange make this as well, more beautifully of course (imo). They make it light blue for the day and dark blue with stars on the night (lange 1)
    2. Nope
    3. No idea, but i think its legible
    4. No lume according to pic, again, no idea since i don't have it

2.) Here is a picture of the Chrono Open XXT on my puny 6.5" wrist. The 40mm model definitely would have been a better fit but I liked the look of the 45mm watch better with the full hour markers. Probably too big for my wrist but it's a nice statement piece.

3.) There is enough contrast that normally legibility is not an issue. But in low light, as there is no lume, obviously not as legible.
    4.) No lume
