So wish they made one in steel.

Wow! I imagine they are all sold already? Other than being an amazing watch, this is wonderful additional incentive to acquire one.

    Cheers,

I believe that there are only 50 of each, i.e. 150 in total. Price is steep but there will always be enough fans who can afford it. So I would expect the reply to be: sold out!

There are several allocations available worldwide in all three metals.

Really? If you know where I can find a WG version, I'd be forever grateful.

Re: Zenith A386 Revival in YG, RG & WG

I thought it was 50 years (see above)?! Still, more than enough.....

For a start, since there are only 150 of them in total, Zenith would limit the damage even if these things failed by the dozen. For another thing, I do wonder what the warranty covers. Plain "need for a service" shouldn't be in it - this is hardly an issue in modern watches since these can go for up to ten years without servicing and the warranty never goes that far. So, a 50 year warranty will/should definitely not cover "balance amplitude below 180°", "deviation between daily rates of more than 30 seconds" or the like (all reasons for an overdue service, even if the watch is basically still up and running). And any serious watch collector will think twice about foregoing the next service just because the watch is still on warranty but the service isn't covered.....
