    Zenith parts

    Dear forum members,
I have several restoration projects.I think this is the only
way for me to enjoy with a Zenith .Because I need to collect
money for several years for a new Zenith .
I am working on 2532,2552,2562 and 2572 calibers. Most of them need part no:445 broken.Up to now I used some movements for parts but now I need a supplier .
Please inform me about the watch part suppliers which I can find Zenith parts.
    Best regards
    Hikmet

    I know this is a silly question>>>

but have you contacted Zenith? If so, what did they say? I am just curious. I know there has been some attempt to control the sale of parts and keep them in authorized channels, but sometimes, I hear there is play with the older watches.

    Thanks for listening,

    Dan

    Re: Zenith parts

I took my ElPrimero to a local watchmaker who tried to find parts for it. His distributor said that parts are not available for Zeniths. I discovered that Zenith only sells parts to Zenith-certified watchmakers. Maybe Zenith has a more liberal policy with parts for their older watches.

    Best,
    Ron H

Contacted Zenith, they send my inquiry to their AD in
Istanbul. They send an e-mail and called me. We talked
and I understand that they do not keep any stock for
vintage watches. They are going to ask from Zenith
and if available they will quote. So,we will wait a little
    bit more.
In the mean time I continue on to search for the supply
sources and find the company named Precise Timing. They have several parts available.
    Best regards
    Hikmet
