Im probably asking a stupid question but any links on how the soprod is superior to the eta or st5 movements? I know its better i just dont know why or how.

    Re: O1V dual time

Can someone please confirm if the new Ocean dual time has the true GMT movement? where the hour hand can be advanced or retarded without stopping all other hands? or its like the Ocean One GMT which i find to be a little annoying.

Is it possible to have Steinhart add a cyclops to the crystal prior to shipping?

Short answer is No... It simply would look ridiculous if one were added and probably wouldn't fit correctly. The crystal is hghly domed with a rounded edge.

    Re: O1V dual time

I can't find any mention of this being a limited edition model, so am i safe to assume that I will be able to order this in a few weeks? I wonder if by using the Soprod movement this will be more readily available than the other GMT models with the ETA movements.

This is exactly the watch i was hoping for with the THOR project - funny that!

If i'm not mistaken the original had both a cyclops and a rounded edge, domed crystal though.

Interesting. Nice catch. Maybe it can be done. I'm not a cyclops fan myself though.
