    SO VERY disappointed in Steinhart

    Hi, I started a thread below, mentioning hands that are not aligned and also, lume coming off the ceramic bezel of my Ocean Titanium 500 Premium GMT. Sent it back and they said it would take 5 weeks. Ten days later, I received an email saying the watch is repaired and on it's way back. Just received it.

    The watch is the same, the hands seem not aligned correctly still, and, they didn't fix the lume on the bezel either.

    I don't know what to think of this.

    It did come with a new protective sticker on the watch face, so that's good.

    And bits of lume are already sticking to it.

    That's what the bezel looked like when I sent it in for repair, and it was sent back to me like this.

    Today: Hands misaligned still and lume is not fixed either.

    Looking around for more info on the lume and found this post here on WUS...sounds like what happened to me. What's the remedy for this?

    Went to Steinhart's website and they have no bezel inserts specific to this watch. So, if you purchased this watch, and the lume flakes off, which seems to be common, correct me if I'm wrong, and Steinhart ignores your problem...you basically bought a lemon. I guess there are third party bezel inserts that fit this watch, but the resale value will be much lower.

    I am friends with Gunther on FB, but why would I contact him, rather than customer service? Customer service for a watch under warranty is not a special favor, I think.

    Purchased June 26, 2017. Sent it back for repair (two weeks ago) before warranty ran out, now, it is out of warranty. I contacted them after the watch came back, today. No reply thus far. I was not aware of lume issues with ceramic bezel inserts, and if I had been, I would not have purchased this watch. A donkey would've known this could happen. I have an OVM too...very pleased. First time I needed customer care and it's a bit of a downer.

    It's also the misalignment, maybe I'm too perfectionist but a watch is a precision instrument, so I thought, you know, it would precisely indicate the hour.
