Elgin Masonic 45mm
Here's an unusual item I picked up on eBay last year (from a U.S. knick-knack seller who doesn't normally sell watches), and have loved it, but need to sell it for another incoming watch.
1924 345 Elgin pocket watch movement recased very nicely in a display back.
Movement is engraved with the Masonic logo, and this appears to be an original engraving. We pondered over this a few times at GTGs.
Elgin had close ties with the Masons

Recase was very recent and dial, of course, is a new repaint.
The dial appears to be an original. It also appears that the hands may have been original, but repainted. I could give or take the dial graphics, but it was painted well, and it hits all the Masonic symbology.
This is an amazing little piece, if only for the work that someone did do to showcase the movement. Watch winds well and keeps excellent time.
I've tried to source where this may have come from, but have drawn a blank everywhere. Original eBay seller wouldn't answer questions after the purchase (weird).
It's so specific, and didn't look like a Chinese conversion.
